As a group psychotherapist and consultant—working with people living with cancer, caregivers, bereaved persons, compassion fatigue, transference/countertransference, and existential concerns—I have borne witness to the unique aspects of self-discovery, compassion, and personal growth that arise from exploring the human condition with others in a confidential setting.

A WOMEN’S Empowerment GROUP FOR LIFE’S EVOLUTIONS.

This 10-week, in-person group meets twice a month and supports women looking to elevate their relationships & wellness. In an empowering setting, we explore transitions and growth, self-esteem, relationships, communication, body positivity, sexuality, parenting/parents, caregiving, career/retirement, grief, and aging, and death anxiety.

Our discussions will be guided by essays, poetry, books, music, movies, and artworks that evoke thoughts, emotions, and feelings.

Cancer Survivorship Book Club

The cancer Survivor Book Club for women.

This monthly virtual support group supports women cancer survivors looking to connect to others who are in all states of survivorship, i.e., initial diagnosis, treatment, post-treatment, and beyond. In a compassionate setting, we read books about fictitious and real-life women who face struggles and hardships with grit, tenacity, and perseverance.

Come together on a journey of discovery & connectivity through engaging discussions of fiction, non-fiction, & poetry.

PARTNERS & SPOUSES Bereavement Group.

This in-person group meets weekly for ten weeks and supports partners and spouses whose loved one has died within the last two years. In a safe environment, members explore their losses while providing and receiving comfort among others experiencing similar emotions, behaviors, and thoughts on their grief journey.

Our discussions are guided by themes such as life imprints, grief emotions, misconceptions, resilience, and the six needs of mourning.

PEOPLE NEED PEOPLE - FOR INITIAL AND CONTINUED SURVIVAL, FOR SOCIALIZATION, FOR THE PURSUIT OF SATISFACTION. NO ONE - NOT THE DYING, NOT THE OUTCAST, NOT THE MIGHTY - TRANSCENDS THE NEED FOR HUMAN CONTACT.
